On September 18, 2024, the regular consular consultations between the heads of the Consular Services of Foreign Ministries of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Azerbaijan were held at the MFA of Uzbekistan. The parties discussed the current state and prospects for strengthening and developing cooperation between the consular services of the two countries. The issues of protecting the rights and interests of citizens of parties were considered.

The agenda also included an exchange of views on cooperation in the fields of migration, justice, mutual transfer of statistical data and information on civil status acts, as well as further expansion of the legal framework. Particular attention was paid to establishing direct interaction between the authorized bodies of the parties within the framework of cooperation on various issues of mutual interest.
