On July 16, 2024, Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Muzaffar Madrakhimov held a meeting with the President of Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry Stavros Stavrou .

During the meeting, the sides discussed the issues of active promotion of economic diplomacy, seeking cooperation between Chambers of Commerce and Industry, establishing partnerships between business communities of the two countries. In the context, the mutual readiness to organize a trade mission of leading Cypriot companies to Uzbekistan interested in entering the market of our country was expressed.

The parties also discussed the implantation of joint projects in the fields of “green” energy, textile and modernization of tourist infrastructure.
