On July 9, 2024, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov during his visit to Malaysia met with Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia. The cordial greetings of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev were extended to the Prime Minister. During the conversation, the sides noted that Uzbekistan-Malaysia bilateral relations have been experiencing unprecedented dynamics in all areas, especially since the highest level meetings. The great unexploited potential, including in economic, agricultural, educational, cultural and other dimensions was also underscored.
