Political consultations between Uzbekistan and Netherlands took place in Tashkent
On April 25, 2024, the next round of political consultations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Kingdom of the Netherlands took place in Tashkent.
During the political consultations, the parties reviewed the current state and priority areas of Uzbekistan-Netherlands relations.
At the meeting, the sides focused on intensifying political dialogue, realizing the existing potential for cooperation in the trade, economic and investment spheres, developing inter-parliamentary contacts, strengthening cultural and humanitarian interaction, as well as expanding ties between the leading scientific and educational institutions.
The agenda of the negotiations also included the issues of building partnerships in the textile and agricultural industries. The delegations confirmed mutual interest in increasing bilateral trade and implementing joint projects.
Particular attention was paid to the schedule and organizational aspects of upcoming joint events at various levels, including in the “Central Asia – European Union” format.
An exchange of views also took place on other issues of the bilateral and regional agenda.
