On April 2, 2024, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov had a phone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus Constantinos Kombos. 

The sides expressed appreciation of the stable and growing dialogue between the Governments of Uzbekistan and Cyprus. Ministers underscored the readiness to further expand and strengthen Uzbekistan-Cyprus collaboration bilaterally and within the European Union.
