On January 5, 2024, Deputy Foreign Minister Bobur Usmanov held separate meetings with the Ambassadors of Japan Takashi Hatori and China Yu Jun.

During the meetings, the sides reviewed the implementation of joint programs and prospects for Uzbekistan-Japan and Uzbekistan-China dialogue in the political, trade, economic, transport, cultural, and other spheres.

The parties also exchanged views on preparations for upcoming political contacts in 2024.
