On September 3-7, 2023, the delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov visited the United States.

Foreign Minister held meetings with Special Assistant to the US President Nicholas Berliner, New York Mayor Eric Adams, Chairman of the US Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Gary Peters, World Bank Vice President Antonella Bassani, and the leadership of several leading American companies.

During the negotiations, the sides discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation in various directions. Particular attention was paid to intensifying trade, economic, and investment ties.

During the trip, the Uzbekistan-U.S. IT Association "TechBridge" was launched. The project is aimed at strengthening partnerships in the IT sphere.

The Uzbek delegation also took part in a solemn event dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the US Library of Congress building.
