Uzbekistan has joined the European Alliance of Critical Raw Materials!
Uzbekistan has joined the European Alliance of Critical Raw Materials! The world has entered a new era of critical minerals, and Uzbekistan is striving to take a key position in this process. Last year, the European Union and Uzbekistan signed a memorandum of understanding on critical raw materials. Today, the Uzbek Technological Metals Plant (TMK) has officially joined the European Alliance of Critical Raw Materials (ERMA). This step has strengthened Uzbekistan's position in the global market of critical minerals. ERMA is a key platform shaping the resource policy of the European industry and ensuring reliable supplies of lithium, tungsten, molybdenum and rare earths. The Alliance plays a crucial role in Europe's transition to green technologies and the energy of the future. “We look forward to working with TMK to achieve ERMA's goals, as well as to strengthen cooperation between the European Union and Uzbekistan,” ERMA Director Massimo Gasparon said. Membership in ERMA will take TMK to a new level:
• Financial mechanisms will be expanded through European grants and investments,
• Joint research and innovation will be conducted with leading European centers,
• TMK products will receive additional opportunities to enter the international market with even higher quality standards. This partnership will transform Uzbekistan from a simple supplier of resources into a full-fledged innovative partner of the global industry!
