President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoev arrived in Ljubljana on an official visit at the invitation of President of the Republic of Slovenia Natasha Pirs Musar.

In front of the plane, the head of our state was greeted by the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of foreign affairs Tanya Fayon and other officials.

 In honor of the high-ranking guest at the International Airport named after Yoje Puchnik, the state flags of the two countries were raised, the guard of Honor was lined up.

 In accordance with the program of the visit, the leader of Uzbekistan will hold negotiations with the president of Slovenia Natasha Pierce Musar, hold meetings with the leadership of the parliament and government of the country, participate in a joint business forum.

Issues of development of mutually beneficial trade and economic partnership, implementation of cooperative projects in the fields of industry, pharmaceutical, electrical engineering, "green" energy, agriculture, cooperation on labor migration and expansion of humanitarian ties are considered.
