On April 24, 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received the Founder and Chairman of the Liwayway Group Board Dr. Carlos Chan and his team.

During the meeting, the Minister thanked the Filipino businessmen for their contribution to strengthening the relations between the two countries. Many avenues of Uzbekistan and the Philippines promising cooperation were also discussed.
