On August 24, 2023, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received copies of the credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan Shadurdy Meredov.

During the meeting, the parties emphasized that the relations between the two countries have expanded to an unprecedented level in recent years. It was noted that many tangible results have been achieved in various fields and more ambitious plans have been set in the future.

The Minister wished the Ambassador success in fulfilling his diplomatic mission in our country.
